The proposed Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff is back on. ABC has given a pilot order to Marvel’s Most Wanted, a drama project starring Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. standouts Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood and revolving around their respective characters Barbara “Bobbi” Morse, aka Mockingbird, and Lance Hunter.
The drama had been developed quietly last season by S.H.I.E.L.D. executive producer Jeffrey Bell and co-executive producer Paul Zbyszewski. ABC put the breaks on the project in early May, just before the upfronts.
I hear the drama has since been redeveloped with a new direction for the two characters that all parties are excited about. It is unclear whether the project will be considered a S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff or not but I hear it will film a standalone pilot, much like the CW did with the Arrow offshoot The Flash. I hear that will likely not happen right away, and the new pilot, first reported by Variety, may shoot during the regular pilot season in early 2016.
S.H.I.E.L.D. fans had been divided by the idea for a Mockingbird-Lance spinoff, and there had been some backlash to the idea of taking some of the strongest new characters on S.H.I.E.L.D. away from the mothership series.
Marvel’s Most Wanted is looking to join ABC/Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D., which is returning for a third season, and Agent Carter, which again will bridged S.H.I.E.L.D.’s half-seasons with its second installment.
ABC and Marvel also are secretly working on a potential series with John Ridley.
Get ready for more Adrianne Palicki on “Agents of SHIELD.”
“G.I. Joe: Retaliation” actress Palicki has been elevated to series regular on the ABC superhero series.

Palicki came aboard the series in its second season as Bobbi Morse (superhero name: Mockingbird), and has appeared in six episodes so far.
She’ll next appear on March 3 when the series comes back for the second half of Season 2 with the episode “Aftershocks.”
The episode will find Skye’s father Cal (Kyle MacLachlan) seeking retribution against Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) for stealing his revenge against Whitehall. In the meantime, Palicki’s Bobbi and Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie (Henry Simmons) begin the next phase of a plan which seems to have grave repercussions for Coulson and his team.
The series recently cast “The Sopranos” and “Sons of Anarchy” star Drea de Matteo, who’ll play “gifted individual” Karla Faye Gideon; and Edward James Olmos, who’ll portray Robert Gonzales, whose debut on the series is said to bring “massive repercussions” for Coulson and his team.
I have added episode stills and one promotional shoot of Adrianne as Bobbi on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D to the gallery.
I have added production still, posters and hd movie captures of Adrianne from her role in Red Dawn to the gallery.

Two weeks into its run, El Rey Network‘s first original scripted series, From Dusk Till Dawn, has been picked up for a 13-episode second season. Because El Rey — available on Comcast, DirecTV and Time Warner Cable — is an ustart, it is not yet measured by Nielsen, so no ratings data for the show is available. But From Dusk Till Dawn has been bringing in coin from distribution pacts, including a deal with Netflix, which carries the series in key international El-Rey-Network (1)territories and is on board for Season 2, and a DVD/EST agreement with eOne for the U.S. and Canada, which makes From Dusk Till Dawn episodes available on Amazon, iTunes, Sony Playstation, Xbox, Vudu, Google Play, Cinemanow, Blackberry and Target Ticket after their El Rey premiere. “As the television landscape becomes even more crowded, it’s important for El Rey Network to have a recurring and memorable franchise that speaks to our audience and allows us to break away from the noise of all the competition,” El Rey vice chair Scott Sassa said. “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series is most certainly that kind of property and we are thrilled with the response from our affiliate partners, advertisers, viewers and the international community.”
From Dusk Till Dawn is based on the cult classic film of the same name by El Rey co-founder Robert Rodriguez, who created the series and directed four of the first season’s installments. “This is a truly unique property and one that has really resonated for viewers,” he said. “It has been a joy to bring these characters back to life and have the opportunity to take our storytelling to a whole new place.” From Dusk Till Dawn will be followed by El Rey’s second scripted series, action drama Matador, which is in production.
From Dusk Till Dawn’s international cast includes: D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Jesse Garcia, Eiza González, Wilmer Valderrama, Adrianne Palicki, Jake Busey, Don Johnson, Madison Davenport, Lane Garrison, Robert Patrick, and Brandon Soo Hoo. From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series is an El Rey Network production in association with Rodriguez International Pictures, FactoryMade Ventures and Miramax. Executive producers are Robert Rodriguez, Carlos Coto (who is also showrunner) and FactoryMade Ventures and El Rey Network co-founders John Fogelman and Cristina Patwa. Diego Gutierrez is writer and co-executive producer.
